For his known competence in the IT sector, he is advisor of some investment banks. He is member of European Council of Partner of the American company Sun Microsystems and he holds the same position in the European Council of Partner of the Israeli company Checkpoint and of the American Red Hat . He took part in the Board of Directors of the “Commercio Elettronico Italia” (Italian e-commerce) governative association until December 2003 and he is member of the Commission of Juvenile Protection on Internet of CLUSIT (Italian Association for the Information Security) since 2001.
Entrepreneur and investor, he is one of the main promoter of the new venture Serendipity Energia. Serendipity Energia has several exclusive patents to produce electric power creating in a power plant the artificial tornado phenomenon, really a 100% renewable energy source.

Starting from November 2004, he is president of the Information and Telecommunication Group of National Italian Manufacturers’ Federation (Confindustria) for Digital Economy and he is Vice President of the local branch.
He is fond of history, archaeology, art and social sciences and he sits in the Council of the Presidency of the Friends of Ravenna Antica Association, whose Foundation has the high patronage of the Presidency of Italian Republic.
