The milestones of 25 years of growth

Back in 1996, while listening to the famous song "My Way" by Frank Sinatra:

"And did it my way
Yes, it was my way"

the idea of naming this dream "Itway" was born: do IT your way!
We chose the pronoun "IT" to also represent the object of this intention: making Information Technology a driving force for progress and business, and doing it in our way, with our values!

  • 4 luglio 1996

    Itway S.p.A. was constituted

  • 1997

    The first corporate financial statements, in the black, are published

  • 1998

    Purchase of the Stone business unit

  • 1999

    SecureWay, which specializes in e-security products and services, is created.

  • 2000

    Acquisition of the Stemasoft business division and brand name; Business-e is created; Itway VAD is constituted

  • 4 luglio 2001

    Itway S.p.A. is listed on the New Market of Borsa Italiana

  • 2003

    The expansion on foreign markets begins with the launch of activities of Itway France and Itway Iberica.

  • 2004

    Itway shares are admitted to the TechStar segment of Borsa Italiana.

  • 2005

    Itway consolidates its presence in the Mediterranean area following the purchase of French group Softway and Greece’s Interaxon

  • 2008

    The Group enters into the Turkish market with the creation of Itway Turkyie.

  • 2009

    The Business Unit Virtualway is created

  • 2011

    Itway teams up with Cisco and joins the Italian Energywise Alliance. It signs a strategic agreement with the Autonomous Province of Trento. Business-e constitutes Business-e Trentino Srl.

  • 2013

    iNebula S.r.l., a supplier of Cloud services and around which the VAS SBU (Value Added Services) is developed, is constituted. Business-e Trentino becomes Be Innova.

  • 2015

    Purchase of 17.1% of Itway MENA in a bid to expand in th Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) markets. In partnership with Libanica, the company has its headquarters in Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates.

  • 2016

    Constitution of 4Sciene S.r.l., which specializes in the digitization of the cultural heritage and the analysis, management and conservation of research data (Advanced Data Management - ADM); and the development of Science & Cultural Heritage (SCH).

  • 2017

    Business-E is solid to MaticMind and start-up 4Science

  • 2018

    Business development 4Science and strengthening of SOC in Trento

  • 2019

    Creation of Cyber Safety BU and ICOY product line (patent pending), based on AI for EHS market

  • 2020

    Creation of Smartys SW & Service for Health Data Security Market.
    4Science wins a USD 1.3 milion tender for Peruvian national Consortium of science and research, Concytec.
    STRATEGIC ALLIANCE BETWEEN ITWAY AND SEAC Through the acquisition of 50% of BE INNOVA, SEAC and ITWAY create the Made in Italy center of excellence in IT security.
